Waikoloa Beach Villas C23

by Douglas

Waikoloa Beach villa number C23 was awesome. it was so clean, nice decor, had everything we needed. It was ideal. The location was awesome, right across the street from the Queen’s MarketPlace, and the island gourmet market. A condo complex pool was literally right behind our villa. We could see it from the window. We really enjoyed the use of the pool and hot tub. It was a pretty nice pool. Also, what was great about this rental was that included the Hilton Waikoloa pass so we ended up using the hilton pools and facilities for a day. My kids loved it. They have a “dolphin quest” experience over there, so we got to see some families playing with the dolphins and watched the dolphins swim around. Even though we didn’t pay to do that experience, it was like seeing a close up dolphin show for free. Also, I would like to say that the garage contains all kinds of useful items. We use chairs and an umbrella at the beach, they also had a ton of snorkel gear and a couple of life vests that we used. I also would like to just comment about the Resortica staff. They were super helpful and nice. The brushfires on Maui , and less so on the big island , we’re going on just before we flew in from California. I was able to talk to the Resortica people and they gave us all the information we needed to understand if it was safe to come over and how it would impact our trip. also, we were interested in doing some star gazing and thought we would have to go to the Maunakea visitor center, but the Resortica representative explained to me that it’s not necessary to go that far it’s pretty dark in the area and if you just go up Waikoloa Road a couple of miles you can pull over and it’s very very dark there. That was also very helpful. We really had a great experience. I highly recommend this management company as well as the condo unit.

H4 Waikoloa Fairway Villas

Stayed with 2 teens, 80 year old mother and spouse with PLENTY of room to spread out. Photos posted are accurate & this is a very CLEAN unit. Entire condo complex is well maintained and beautiful flora all around. Liked having downstairs bedroom for 80 yr old mom/w her own bathroom. Description said room w/2 twin beds on 1st floor but they are actually on 2nd floor. Teens had online summer school classes for a couple of hours each day so loft area w/desk was very useful. WIFI was strong. Easy walk to pool, fitness area( some of us used it daily), Queen and Kings shopping areas.\" A\" Bay Beach convenient 15 min by foot for early morning jog/walks/look for sea turtles but would recommend to drive if bringing beach gear. A/C worked VERY well & could open windows at night for cool breezes if preferred. VERY quiet end unit-did not hear any neighbors during our stay.Had resident wild turkey(s?) visit back patio daily. Look up in the sky @night from back patio chaise- amazing view of sooo many stars.Reserved parking spot very convenient and never had issues finding 2nd visitor parking spots nearby. \"Start up supply \"was plenty for all of us for our 8 day stay. Kitchen was very well supplied! If you have a plan to cook for more than a few days during your stay- save some $$ &load up on groceries at Walmart or Costco in Kona for better pricing. All the beach gear provided in closet was in great shape& there were plenty of beach towels .Washer/Dryer is newer& works well.Recommend you pack way less clothing that you think you need & make use of the w/d so you have more room for the many things you WILL buy& want to bring back home in your baggage. Covenient Island Gourmet(ABC market) close to walk/drive for food, drinks, sundries, souvenirs, & more! Everyone(guests and staff) we encountered in the complex were friendly.Included HiltonPool Pass was a very nice perk-especially if you have younger kids(my teens liked it for about a half day) If I had to be super picky, the bath tow

The Perfect Vacation

We stayed at this unit when we were looking for a low-key getaway. We\'ve stayed on the Big Island before but for the price, nothing compares. The owners have made decisions that obviously have the guest in mind. The deco and furniture is premium design and quality. Just walk into any of the rooms and you feel cared for! Of all the vacations we\'ve taken, we agreed, this one was the hands-down best - and 100% because of where we stayed. Not only are you located in probably the most excellent part of the island, (Waikoloa is stunning and super well-kept), but you are also close to just about anything fun. We went for daily walks to the beach trail that winds around the amazing hotels. We had breakfast at the Hilton, which is a short walk down the street. We hit the beach and coffee farms, but also did nothing at all, and sat on the lanai and read, cooked our own dinner on the provided outdoor grill. We used the incredible and well-appointed kitchen for other meals, with affordable shopping nearby at Waikoloa Village just up the road. The place comes with beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear, and boogie boards for your enjoyment. We had a few moments where we needed to jump on a business call or zoom meeting. The internet was lightening fast and totally reliable the whole time. You could go to this place and pull off a week\'s worth of remote work and catch perfect tropical sunsets and mid-day jaunts to the beach and your employer, clients, or boss wouldn\'t know the difference. (Except perhaps when you fire up that zoom call and there\'s a golf course behind you! But that\'s what the background blur feature is for). Look around if you want, you\'ll never find a better value than Waikoloa H1. Change your travel to get open dates if necessary. We loved our stay there so much that we would sacrifice letting out this best-kept-secret because the hosts have so thoughtfully prepared their unit with guests in mind. Perfect score! If dates are open-BOOK IT (5️⃣⭐️).

2 very minor suggestions/comments: The cooler was missing, just an FYI Also, the house book was a bit out of date (certain restaurants closed, old names on a few businesses, etc.). Not at all a problem, but something that might eventually need attention. Instructions for departure were slightly different on email vs. house book (surrounding what should be done with beds and or towels). We were also confused about what we should do with any leftover food items--we had several unopened bottles of wine, and some other non-perishable (or at least not perishable for a bit) items that we'd leave for the cleaning staff if they want them, but also didn't want to cause them a hassle or incur extra expense if we have to throw everything. A note in the book or on the email would clarify what if anything we should leave behind. Overall a great stay, we will stay again when we come back to the Big Island! *****MANAGEMENT RESPONSE-thank you so much for your feedback. We are actually in the process of changing all of our house books to a digital format with updates to all of our information, area information and procedures for guests. We hope to have that in place in the near future. Also, thank you for letting us know about the cooler. We will get that replaced for future guests. We can always have items like that delivered to the condo if a guest reports that to us during their stay. We are so glad you enjoyed your time on the Big Island!

The villa was beautiful and a wonderful fit for our family of five. Our first impression was one of cleanliness and convenience. There were plenty of restaurants and stores in the community. The introductory manual had everything we needed to get started: restaurant recommendations, passwords, etc. The basic supplies offered were plenty for our week stay and included dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap. We were surprised to find enough comfortable sleeping for seven as the living room had two ottomans that converted into twin beds with new memory foam mattresses as well as a large couch. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, baking ware, toaster, blender, rice cooker, and some basic spices. The patio was perfect for an outdoor meal. There were plenty of towels and linens, as well as beach towels. The ice maker made enough ice to restock the cooler each day before heading out. We used the two beach chairs and boogie boards provided daily. There were some basic snorkels and masks but for real snorkeling we went to snorkel Bob's just a few miles up the highway near Foodland, where we did all our grocery shopping. It was great to be just 15 minutes from Kona on the south or Hapuna on the north. The family enjoyed boogie boarding so much that we went to Hapuna almost daily. Lone palm is close by and absolutely gorgeous at sunset. There are a couple of good snorkel spots nearby but nothing quite as amazing as the Captain Cook Monument area which was about an hour drive. We loved the villa so much that we hope to make it an annual stay. It was the perfect place to relax at the end of each day. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Mahalo!
