Located about 6 miles (9.7 km) inland from the Waikoloa Beach Resort area is the small community of Waikoloa Village. Waikoloa Village is an established community with a local family vibe. Waikoloa Village Shopping Center has a grocery store, gas station, restaurants, and coffee shop. The new Waikoloa Plaza should be opening soon with even more options.
